Prudential weighs move away from UK

The Prudential is considering plans to move its headquarters away from the UK due to incoming EU capital rules, according to reports.

The move could see the insurance giant sell its UK life and pensions arm or float it as a separate business and move its headquarters to Asia, probably Hong Kong or Singapore, The Sunday Times reported.
