Willis Towers Watson hires Deloitte partner Colin Forrest to lead its life team in the UK

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has appointed Colin Forrest to lead its life team in the UK.

Based in London, WTW said Forrest will work to ensure life insurers have access to bespoke products and services as the sector continues to face a volatile risk environment.

Forrest has 25 years of industry experience and joins from Deloitte as a partner, where he most recently led the firm’s Swiss actuarial practice and predictive analytics team.

Before this Forrest was a director in the actuarial and insurance management solutions practice at PwC and head of corporate risk at Royal Liver Assurance. He started his career as a pricing actuary at Aegon.

Claire Farrelly, life sales and practice leader at WTW, said: “Our team and clients will benefit enormously from Colin’s appointment. The wealth of knowledge and experience he brings will be a real asset to the UK Life business and his expertise will be vital in providing the business solutions being sought by our clients, which have rapidly evolved in recent years.”

The appointment expands WTW’s UK life team further, following the recent appointments of Matthew Ford, Gary Williams, Steve Hardwick, Heloise Rossouw and Marcus Bowser.
