- Financial Services experience (ideally)

You’ll be part of a high calibre team, with regular exposure to senior management and a good track record of internal progression and supporting continual professional development.
You’ll be expected to oversee one junior team member and partner across the business with other teams and senior stakeholders, taking a key role within a team that produce, analyse and deliver the Group’s external financial reporting.
Key accountabilities:
- Manage one junior p/qual team member
- Production of statutory accounts under IFRS, handling auditor queries
- Analyse the consolidated results to produce commentary for internal management
- Quarterly consolidation and validation of the results into internal and external reporting
- Manage GL ensuring accurate postings
- Business partner across Finance and wider teams to deliver accurate reporting and resolve any issues
- Involved with ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives
Required experience:
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Previous statutory reporting experience (IFRS) in any industry (Financial Services advantage)
- Alternatively a background in FS audit with a leading accounting practice
- Familiarity with financial control environments
- Relevant experience of accounting systems and good Excel skills
- Ideally previous management experience
