Pear Talent is representing a FTSE100 Financial Services group who have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Cost Reporting & Analysis, leading a team x15 and reporting to the Director of Finance Operations. The business is undergoing a significant cost optimisation programme and running several strategic cost initiatives to develop, improve, rationalise and centralise aspects of cost management.
Key accountabilities:
This role will focus on setting the strategic direction of cost reporting and analysis, delivering standardised cost reporting, improved forecasting and planning, as well as automation. You’ll business partner directly with Group head office and divisional leadership on cost management, ensuring cost targets are met, as well as have a key role in implementing cost reduction initiatives within the business.
Required experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Previous FTSE100 listed company experience (any industry)
- Significant multi-million £ complex cost base reporting, planning and forecasting
- Previous team leadership experience (ideally x10 FTE or more)
- Previous experience developing and implementing improved cost management/reporting processes and systems
- Build relationships and influence leadership stakeholders across complex matrix structure
- Robust business partnering skills, able to challenge, influence and drive cost management targets
