- Contract: 12 months

- £75,000 – £85,000 + package, benefits etc
- 4 days WFH (1 day p/wk Sussex office)
Pear Talent is representing an Insurance business who have an excellent opportunity for an Interim Finance Manager for a 12 month contract reporting to the Head of the team as their No.2. You’ll hold a key role leading a team x5 delivering the half and full-year financial reporting outputs. You’ll have a high profile role overseeing junior team members, with regular exposure to senior management.
Key accountabilities:
- Lead and review all external reporting (statutory accounts, regulatory returns, half & annual reporting)
- Lead the monthly financial performance, MI and Executive Committee reports.
- Business partner across Finance and other areas to improve business performance insight and understanding at all levels.
- Manage all required papers to the Audit Committee and Board relating to internal and external reporting, as well as managing the relationship with External Auditors.
- Lead, motivate and develop junior members of the team.
Required experience:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with previous financial reporting experience gained in a similar role in the Insurance industry.
