Finance have been running extensive business-wide projects to integrate these acquired companies, whilst also improving reporting processes and investing in advanced systems. These positions require people who are looking for more than the “business as usual” and are keen to be involved in this kind of Finance transformation. You’ll be part of a high calibre team, with regular exposure to senior management and a good track record of internal progression as well as offering support for continual professional development.
The positions above all cover the following areas with the appropriate varying seniority and responsibility that you’d expect.
Key accountabilities:
- Production and analysis of statutory (IFRS) and regulatory (PRA, SII etc) reporting.
- Delivery of high quality management information covering KPIs for business segments
- Apply a high level of accountancy knowledge and understanding of multiple different reporting bases e.g. IFRS (Solvency II adv.)
- Develop understanding of the business to provide insights and support stakeholders from a financial reporting viewpoint
- Contribute to the development of new and improved accounting processes
- Stakeholder management – build effective relationships across the business to deliver key information and analysis within timescales
- Team Management – mentor juniors and manage direct reports (Senior Accountant)
- Take on significant roles in Finance projects and initiatives
Required experience:
- Part-qualified through to 5+yrs post-qualified accountant
- Experience of financial accounting and reporting processes as above (level and industry role dependent)
- Alternatively candidates with a top 10 audit practice should also apply
- Stakeholder & Team management (level/role dependent)
- Communicating with stakeholders across the business and influencing outcomes
