Pear Talent is representing a rapidly growing Financial Services FinTech business backed by a FTSE100 financial services company and funded by global banks. Reporting to the Financial Controller you’ll play a key role in delivering the companies financial reporting and results, as well as driving a major finance change and improvements programme to enhance the function as a whole, fit for the recent significant business growth and ambitious future plans.

You’ll be expected to oversee junior team members and partner across the business, managing key senior stakeholder relationships, taking a leading role within a team that produce, analyse and deliver the Company’s financial results.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead the production of the external financial reporting (IFRS), including investor reports and internal business performance packs.
  • Analyse the financial results to produce commentary for both internal management and external audiences.
  • Produce various disclosures for inclusion in the annual report and accounts, interims and reports to investors.
  • Partner across the business to ensure a wider understanding of the Company’s financial performance.
  • Take on significant roles within ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives.

Required experience:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with previous Financial Services experience either in a similar financial reporting position or otherwise from Audit with a Top10 practice.
