Partnership and Just Retirement are set to cut 231 jobs after both businesses have merged.
The cuts will be part of a plan to save £40 million per year following the merger, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The combined entity will be named the JPR Group.
In August the two specialist annuity providers announced they would merge, giving the combined company a total workforce of 1,200 employees
