
Legal & General (L&G) digital director Mike Bury is to leave the business at the end of the year as part of a company reorganisation which will effect its platform business.
Bury was appointed executive director of L&G’s digital savings division in November 2014.
The division includes platform Cofunds and Sipp provider Suffolk Life. A spokesman for L&G said Bury decided to leave after a reorganisation of the division, which followed the company’s sale of its offhshore arm, L&G International, which previoulsy came under his control.
He was previously managing director of retail savings at L&G, which also included Cofunds and Suffolk Life. Prior to this, Bury was finance and resources director at L&G.
A spokesman for L&G said no further jobs would be cut as a result of the reorganisation.
The company has not appointed a direct replacement for Bury.
