Pru UK chief exits two years after Standard swap

Prudential’s UK chief executive Jackie Hunt has left the company after just two years in the job.

Hunt (pictured) succeeded Rob Devey as chief executive of the Prudential in the UK in October 2013. She joined the Prudential from Standard Life where she had been chief financial officer.

She will be replaced on an interim basis by John Foley, Prudential group investment director, until a long-term successor is found.

In March, Prudential’s group chief executive Tidjane Thiam stepped down from his role to join Credit Suisse. The company announced that Mike Wells, previously the company’s US chief executive, would succeed him in May.
